What is Bargain Investor?
The Bargain Investor leads Small Cap and Micro Cap stock analysis industry. Offering complimentary and subscription supported services. We cover Small and Mid Cap equities, OTC trading as well as traditional big board features on NASDAQ, AMEX & NYSE.
Your subscription gives you access to our weekly pick list, insight, key data, trading points and information, buy and sell target prices, special reports, profiles. You will also receive daily alerts to movements and significant news/press or events concerning our picks or the watch list.
How is Bargain Investor different from existing financial websites?
Bargain Investor is more than just a timely newsletter and alerts. It is a new web-based research platform designed to help you profit from the shared insight of other members, advisors, and analysts. Bringing tested investor intelligence to the member.

Bargain Investor pulls data from various financial feeds combined with licensed data from Alpha Trade (tm)
Why is Bargain Investor in "beta"?
We are still in the process of testing functions and adding features. Now is a good time to join the group and help shape the results of the application. Releasing the application is a "best method" for development to improve the product and get feedback from the users.

What are the minimum system requirements for using Bargain Investor charts?
To use Bargain Investor charts, your system must meet the following requirements:
- Macromedia Flash; Player 7.0+. If you don't have a Flash Player plug-in installed on your computer, you can download it from the Adobe website.
- Microsoft Windows 2000 or higher with the latest updates installed: IE 6.0, Windows Firefox 1.0, Windows Opera 8.0
- Mac OS: Macintosh Firefox 1.0, Safari 1.2.4 and 2.0
- Linux: Firefox 1.0.4
I looked up a stock, and I didn't see a chart. Why?
Probably the security in question isn't trading with enough volume to generate a chart. This often happens with penny stocks or stocks trading on foreign exchanges..
What are Top Movers?
Now you can easily see which companies are the biggest movers by:
- Price, which identifies the top gainers and losers in terms of % price change vs. the prior day's official closing price
- Market cap, which identifies the top gainers and losers in terms of change in absolute market capitalization vs. the prior day's official closing market cap
- Volume, which identifies the stocks with the highest trade volume
- $ Volume, which identifies the stocks with the highest dollar volume (value of shares) traded
- Popularity, which identifies the stocks with the highest gains in Bargain Investor query traffic
Note: Price/Market Cap/Volume/$ Volume all exclude stocks with market caps less than $1 billion and stock prices lower than $1
How can I create a Bargain Investor portfolio? How many companies can I track?
To create a Bargain Investor portfolio you simply need to have a Bargain Investor Account. Once you have a Bargain Investor Account, click on the "My Bargains" link at the top of the Bargain Investor page. Bargain Investor portfolios allow you to keep track of financial information, including how many shares you own and at what price.
Can I track transactional information in my portfolios?
Yes, on a limited basis the Bargain Investor portfolios include fields where can easily track transactional information such as buy/sell, buy to cover, sell short, date commissions and return calculations.
What's a Bargain Investor Account?
Your Bargain Investor Account gives you access to various Bargain Investor services, including your personalized homepage, Bargain Investor Forums, Bargain Investor Alerts, Newsletters and Alerts, Access to Comments and Pick list. If you don't yet have a Bargain Investor Account, you can create one at Create a Bargain Investor Account.
Can other people view my portfolio?
Yes, the purpose is to share your picks and comments about the equities you find interesting...good or bad. Your picks are ranked, combined and compared to the performance of other members and other performances.
How do I remove items from my portfolio?
To remove an item from your portfolio, simply visit your "My Picks" page and click on the 'x' box next to the company or fund name you want to remove. The item will be removed from your portfolio list immediately and from our systems within a few days (due to our backup systems).
Can I get emailed alerts from Bargain Investor (eg, stock alerts)?
Yes, we send alerts based on your elections. When a stock on our pick list moves call position or rankings. Alerts can be opted into for other portfoilos your watching. When you send or recieve a personal message or respond to a forum action items...
Yes, We find communication the best way to stay in contact (did I just say that?).
I'm concerned about content I've located in Bargain Investor. Would you please change or remove it?
