What is the Water Cooler? We've created a simple Discussion Groups lacking any distractions and hyperbole for real people with real lives so you can enjoy thoughtful conversations about the companies and markets you care about.
How do I participate in a Bargain Investor Discussion Group? In order to post and participate in the Bargain Investor discussions, you'll have to create a Bargain Investor Account if you don't have one already. We also ask that you tell the community a few things about yourself by creating a Bargain Investor profile. After that, simply submit your posts and our team will review to ensure compliance with the Discussion Group Member Conduct. We strive to review all posts within an hour.
Are my comments reviewed by someone? Yes, as a shared responsibility between the editor and publisher for now. We are developing a group of mentors to help with this task. Members must abide by the Member Conduct Rules, such as no spam, no pornography, and no hate. Bargain Investor is not reviewing posts for opinions.
Why would I want to create a Bargain Investor profile? Your Bargain Investor profile lets you publicly share personal information like your location, industry, favorite quote, and a link to your website or blog. This provides users with context for where your post is coming from.
How will I know if my post has been disapproved? If your post isn't approved, you'll receive a notification email at the email address associated with the Bargain Investor Account you used to sign up. Otherwise, you can expect to see it live very soon.
Can I hide my name or post anonymously? As part of our effort to provide high-quality discussion groups that are on-topic and free of spam, we require people posting to Bargain Investor discussion groups to identify themselves. As a Bargain Investor discussion group poster, you can select a nickname to display with your posting however your email address will continue to be available to other users.
